Last Sunday, November 27th, we held the second event of our 2011/2012 qualifying series at Aughrane Forest near Ballygar, Co. Galway. The trail was fantastic, both Mandy Hynes and David Lynch must be thanked for their good work in scouting and distancing it. After some horrible weather late Saturday evening and through the night we were blessed with a perfect day for the races on Sunday, clear, dry and not too warm for the dogs.

As with our last event at Woodlawn we again had people turnout to compete in all the disciplines of dryland dogsledding, and also again some of our juniors showed their enthusiasm for the sport. The results from each class were as follows;
